                                This forum’s objectives

Islamic culture has been taking another direction through its adaptation of new systems, laws and principles of the western cultures.

These cultures have been considerable influence on Islamic culture and economy.

How can we compare the old Islamic concept of economy with the new Islamic mentality?

Through practical research and scientific study we will try to understand the economic policy of the Islamic bank, Musaraka, Mudaraba and Murabaha as the basic conceptions of Islamic banking.

Through knowledge systems we can basically change our view and understanding towards Globalization, which conquer the economic policy of the world. Also studying and dealing with the "knowledge audit" gives us good opportunity to improve our capacity and creativity to develop anew perspective in the way of thinking to approach the modern economy which can lead to the build- up an economic ethical system that can be considered a good example of the Islamic economy.

How can we renew the concept of Islamic economy, considering that the western society does not accept the idea of another economy that does not care about gaining money through interests and that finds making profit out of them unethically and unjust? How will it be practically and scientifically possible in the third millennium to prove the correct balance between Economy and Ethics?

This can only be possible if we are able to build a new economic perspective based on globalization. One should try to improve the situation of both the people with limited income and those who have got intelligence and different capabilities by creating new economic enterprises that are important to both group. This will have to lead to the closing of the "gaps" that were created by capitalism.

Our study devotes itself to the research of the possibility of constructing a new economic system that can integrate with other economic systems (e.g. capitalism, Confucianism) or could replace them with an Islamic economic system.
